
It’s the Valentine’s weekend and aficionados can relish two love stories at the box-office starting today (February 12) – Fitoor and Sanam Re. And both these movies have not exactly opened to rave reviews. Viewers, who we interviewed at a multiplex and single screen theatre, were divided in their opinions, some having liked both and others having expressed their strong disapproval. The standout point for many in Fitoor was Katrina Kaif and her sizzling beauty. Her acting failed to impress the viewers and the same could be said about Aditya Roy Kapoor, who too, viewers felt was not up to the mark in terms of acting. One viewer felt the storyline, replete with its complexities was better suited for multiplex audience rather than single screen ones. Music of the film was appreciated by the majority along with Tabu’s brilliant performance. (Also Read: Sanam Re Review)
Sanam Re, on the other hand, offered viewers great cinematographic delight in the form of visually stunning locales. Pulkit’s performance found quite a few takers. However, audience felt the two actresses were disappointing in their roles.
Both movies saw very less number of footfalls for morning shows. With the Valentine’s weekend kicking in, it remains to be seen which love story will catch viewers’ attention.
