John Abraham is keenly awaiting the release of sports biopic of his close friend cricketer MS Dhoni. John, who shares a close equation with the cricketer, feels Sushant Singh Rajput is the best choice to play his good friend’s role on screen.
“Sushant is fantastic in Dhoni. I wouldn’t be surprised if he plays cricket as much as Dhoni now. Because he has practised a lot. He is the best possible person who could have played Dhoni. I think they belong from the same place as well,” said John Abraham.
Praising the casting of MS DhoniL The Untold Story, John said, “He is the perfect cast for Dhoni. I hope the film does well for both Dhoni and Sushant.”
John, who is more focused today on producing quality films, also clarified that he is not exactly writing or producing script for Varun. “What I said was that I would love to produce a script for Varun. Not that I am currently producing one for him.”
John will soon be seen in an action packed avatar in Rocky Handsome.
