
Actress Tamannaah Bhatia expressed her happiness at Baahubali having won the national award for Best Film.
Speaking to IndianExpress.com, Tamannaah who played one of the leads, said, “Being a part of baahubali is like an award in itself. The film winning a national award makes me feel so excited and very happy for Rajamouli sir and the entire team.”
Also left elated was the Telugu film industry for this is the first time a Telugu movie has won a national honour. Speaking about it, Senthil Kumar who was the director of photography for Baahubali told us, “It’s A Great recognition for mainstream regional cinema for it’s the first time a Telugu Film has won a national award for best film. While Baahubali impressed one and all, audience are now awaiting the release of part two which will be ready by 2017.
