Actress Kate Hudson has shared her struggle to be a good mother in her essay titled “Sometimes I Feel Like a Bad Mom”.

The mother of two said she has a strange bond with Ryder, her son with ex-husband Chris Robinson, because she was very young at the time she gave birth to him, reported Aceshowbiz.

“I was really young, like, 23, when I had Ryder. So, our relationship has always been [a little unusual]. I mean, we’re close, and I am his mom. I’m big on manners. I’m big on politeness. I’m big on gratitude. But I’m a bit of a wild mom,” she wrote

The 36-year-old “Almost Famous” star said she loves to spend time with her little ones, help them with their homeworks and listen to their ideas, but sometimes she just needs time for herself.

Some days I feel like I should win best mom of the day award, and some days I find myself doing strange things that don’t have any real purpose, in faraway corners in my house, and I realize I am literally and deliberately hiding from my children,” she added.

The actress recently enjoyed a snowy vacation with her two sons, brother Oliver Hudson and friend Sara Foster in Aspen, Colorado.
