The trailer of Traffic, starring Manoj Bajpayee, Jimmy Sheirgill, Divya Dutta, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Sachin Khedekar and Kitu Gidwani, will be launched on Wednesday (April 13) in Mumbai. The event will be graced by Mr. Sunil Paraskar – Additional Commissioner of Police-Traffic along with the green corridor officers joining the star cast on the stage.
Manoj Bajpayee, who will be seen playing the role of a traffic constable for the first time in his career, had requested the makers to have the real Mumbai traffic police commissioner commence and attend the event himself.
The entire cast and the makers of the film are very thankful to Mr. Sunil Paraskar for taking out time to attend the event.
“Traffic as a film celebrates the contribution of several unsung heros. We are very glad that Mr. Sunil Paraskar (Additional Commissioner of Police, Traffic department) will be attending the launch along with the other green corridor officers. We are thankful that they have taken time out and have made this launch even more special to us,” a spokesperson said.
Traffic is an emotional thriller based on a road trip from Mumbai to Pune which is based on a true story. The film revolves around transportation of a heart for a heart transplant case, chasing a strict deadline. During the mission they face numerous difficulties and traffic being one of them.
Directed by Late.Mr. Rajesh Pillai, produced by Deepak Dhar of Endemol India and presented by Foxstar studios, Traffic is all set to hit theaters on May 6.
