Kareena Kapoor plays the role of Dr Shivani Gupta in the film. Her look from the film, in which she is seen wearing simple salwar kameez, reminds you of Geet from Jab We Met.
Kareena Kapoor Khan’s look in director Abhishek Chaubey’s Udta Punjab is a complete departure from what we’ve seen her as so far.

In the movie, Kareena’s character leaves her practice in a city to move to the interiors of Punjab to tackle the drug menace.

Directed by Abhishek Chaubey, the film also stars Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Prabhjyot Singh and Diljit Dosanjh. “Udta Punjab” releases on June 17.
