Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone’s “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage” co-star Nina Dobrev has injured her thigh while shooting for a sequence for the film.
Dobrev, 27, shared a snap of the bloodied thigh she got on the set, reported Aceshowbiz.
The actress plays the role of Rebecca, a witty and sarcastic techie, alongside Vin Diesel, 38, who stars as the film’s namesake.
“Film an action movie they said. It’ll be fine they said. Movies may not be real but this is,” read the photo caption.

Fans wished her a speedy recovery, with one tweeting, “Woah! I hope it heals quickly, Nina, and that you won’t have any more wounds like that. Take care! #actorslife” (sic)
Directed by DJ Caruso, the film also stars Samuel L Jackson, Donnie Yen, Tony Jaa and Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone.
It is a sequel to the 2002’s “xXx” and 2005’s “xXx: State of the Union”.
The latest plot follows Xander Cage, whose left almost for dead, and Agent Augustus Eugene Gibbons, played by Jackson, for another mission.
The film is slated for release on January 20, 2017 in the US.
