When Gulshan Devaiah and Sreesanth got together to shoot for Cabaret, they instantly connected over the game of Cricket right from day one.
Actor Gulshan Devaiah, who will be sharing space with Sreesanth in Pooja Bhatt’s upcoming romantic dance thriller Cabaret, shares a common interest and love for Cricket with the former cricketer that helped build an instant bonding between the two on the sets.
When Gulshan and Sreesanth got together to shoot for the film, they instantly connected over the game right from day one. They would spend their time discussing the game and even catching up on matches on television on sets together.
Shreesanth also helped Gulshan improve his bowling skills and even gave some professional tips when he saw Gulshan playing Cricket with film’s crew members.
“Shreesanth and I both are absolutely in love with cricket. Right from day one we instantly connected over the game and followed the game on TV whenever we could. He gave me a few tips on the game and how I could play better,” Gulshan Devaiah said.
Cabaret features Richa Chadda in the lead role of a small town girl making it big in the glamour industry. The film chronicles the relationship between a rising diva and a fallen journalist, played by “Hunterrr” star Gulshan Devaiah. Sreesanth, who is making his debut in Bollywood with the film, will be seen in a grey role.
Directed by Kaustav Narayan Niyogi, the film is slated to release on May 27.
