Maisie got her big acting break at the age of 12 when she was cast as Arya Stark in the show, and now aged 19 is in demand as a film and TV actress.
However, stardom wasn’t in the forefront of her mind when she signed up to the series – as the Brit just wanted to earn some cash so she could splash out on a new computer, reported Guardian.
“The thing I was really obsessed about was whether I would earn enough money to buy myself a laptop. My step-dad Gary just looked at me and said: ‘I think there’ll be enough for a couple of laptops Maisie’,” the actress said.
Her career is going from strength-to-strength and in addition to her role in “Game Of Thrones” she is set to star alongside Jessica Biel and Jason Sudeikis in “The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea”, a drama in which she will play a homeless teenager who builds a raft in an attempt to cross the Atlantic Ocean.
On UK TV screens she has also proved a popular guest star on science-fiction series “Doctor Who”.
