
Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt, who turned 23 on March 15, had a working birthday. She was busy promoting her soon-to-release film with Sidharth Malhotra and Fawad Khan in New Delhi.
Alia celebrated her birthday with the media by cutting a cake and Sidharth, Fawad sang the birthday song for their leading lady.
Alia, whose last release Shaandaar failed to create any magic on box office, admitted that she was nervous ahead of the release of Kapoor and Sons.
“The movie is about to release in three days, so I am very nervous,” said Alia, who looked pretty in a strapless Bambah Boutique dress with black pumps.
Alia also said that her only wish right now is that her latest release ‘Kapoor & Sons’ connects with the audience and does well.

“I can only think of Kapoor and Sons right now. My only wish right now is that the film gets all the love and due, I think, it should get. And it connects with the audience too,” she said.

On being asked about who was the first one to wish her Happy birthday, she said her father (director Mahesh Bhatt) called her at 2 pm yesterday (March 14) so that he could be the first one to wish his daughter on her birthday.
But the actress, who is in Delhi for the promotions, said technically her cast and crew of Kapoor and Sons were the first ones to wish her on her birthday.
“I was having dinner with the cast and crew of Kapoor and Sons yesterday, so, technically, they wished me first,” she said.

Alia Bhatt made her Bollywood debut with Sidharth Malhotra in Student of The Year but is working with fawad for the first time onscreen.
On working with Pakistan actor Fawad Khan, Alia said she had a great time working with him and now she knows how Fawad has such a huge female fan following across the world.
“I loved working with Fawad and had great time working with him. He is a very very giving actor. Now, I understand why he has such a huge female fan following, because he is a very expressive actor especially through his eyes,” said Alia Bhatt.
Kapoor and Sons directed by Shakun Batra is going to release on March 18.
