When IndianExpress.com texted Kabir Khan asking if the speculations about Deepika being paired opposite Salman were true, the director tweeted his thoughts from his official handle.

Earlier it was Hrithik and Deepika who were supposed to be a part of Kabir’s next. But since that project has been put on the back burner, it’s Salman Khan’s film that has taken precedence. It remains to be seen if Deepika will actually make the cut in Kabir’s formal announcement.
