Actress Doris Roberts, who played the role of Marie Barone on popular TV show “Everybody Loves Raymond”, has died at the age of 90.
The news was confirmed by her co-star Patricia Heaton on Twitter.

Roberts died in Los Angeles, reported TMZ.
The actress earned 11 Emmy nominations, including seven for playing Marie on the TV show and winning four for the show.
As intrusive Marie, Roberts made her son and his wife’s life difficult on the show, which ran from 1996-2005.
